Opening of my New Blog about my Original Art!

Hello! You have no idea how excited I am to be making a blog featuring my art! But first of all I would like to just tell a little about myself as a little "get to know me" thing, and my art background.

My name is Jennifer, and I am 25 with a great husband, Mark and I have two children Tatum and Ethan. I grew up most of my life in Mesa Arizona. My step father is a great sketch artist and taught me many things about art and concepts. I began to sketch and use colored pencils. I always drew faces. I instantly knew that I had a natural talent. I began entering my work in shows when I was in high school and even winning many awards. I even sold a piece to my school's principal.

I decided a few months ago to put my talent to the test again and possibly start promoting and even selling my art work. I have sold some pieces on Ebay and have them listed on Etsy.com. Although my work is quite different now that it was in the past. I have started using rich, thick oil paints and also using acrylic paints. I now paint floral and abstract modern pieces. I have to say with every piece I finish I even suprise myself at the detail and ability I put into my piece. They all are so different and unique and I know they can make any room just POP with personality and color. I always use bright colors that pull and draw in the eyes.
